    Advanced neural networking and classification techniques for human brain tissues diagnoses: segmenting healthy, cancer affected and edema brain tissues

    The brain tumors, are the most common and aggressive disease, leading to a very short life expectancy in their highest grade. Thus, treatment planning is a key stage to improve the quality of life of patients. Generally, various image techniques such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)and ultrasound image are used to evaluate the tumor in a brain, lung, liver, breast, prostate and etc. Especially, in this work MRI images are used to diagnose tumor in the brain. However, the huge amount of data generated by MRI scan thwarts manual classification of tumor vs non-tumor in a particular time. But it having some limitation accurate quantitative measurements is provided for limited number of images. Hence trusted and automatic classification scheme are essential to prevent the death rate of human. The automatic brain tumor classification is very challenging task in large spatial and structural variability of surrounding region of brain tumor. In this work, automatic brain tumor detection is proposed segment the Region Proposal Network (RPN) by Faster R-CNN algorithm. Here, the concept of transfer learning is used during training. The proposed system helps to predict the correct type of tumor with better accuracy about 99%. and classifying by using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). The deeper architecture design is performed by using small kernels. Experimental results show that the CNN archives rate of 98% accuracy with low complexity and compared with the all other state of arts methods

    The effect of Tilt Angle, Surface Azimuth and Mirror in Solar Cell Panel Output in Baghdad.

    In this research (100* 40* 4 cm) solar cell panel was used in Baghdad at autumn season (2010), to get best solar cell panel angles experimentally, and then a mirror (40*50 cm) is use to concentrate incident sunlight intensity on a panel. At first case we get (Tilt angle ?P =60°and Surface Azimuth angle ?P =36°E) is the best angles and other case, we add a mirror at angle = 120° at bottom of panel, then we get output power (27.48watt) is bigger than without using a mirror (25.16watt). We can benefit from these cases in variety applications

    The Relationship between Saudi Cadets’ Willingness to Communicate and Their English Language Proficiency

    This study examines a group of Saudi military cadets studying English as a foreign language and their willingness to communicate (WTC) using English. The study investigated the relationship between the cadets’ WTC using English and their English vocabulary size, along with the cadets’ perceived English competence. In addition, the study looked at the relationship between the Saudi military cadets’ WTC using English and their L2 anxiety. A survey was designed for and administered to 113 Saudi military cadets with an average age of 20 years old. Correlation and regression analyses revealed an association between the Saudi cadets’ WTC in L2 and the size of their English vocabulary. Furthermore, the study found a strong linear relationship between the students’ perception of their competence in English and their WTC in L2. However, the analysis showed a negative relationship between the Saudi cadets’ WTC using English and their L2 anxiety

    PROSTATE VAPORIZATION BY DIODE LASER FOR PATIENTS WITH BENIGN PROSTATIC ENLARGEMENT

    Objectives: The objectives of this study were to study the efficacy of diode laser prostatectomy in patients infected with benign prostatic enlargement.Methods: A total of 62 men were included in our prospective clinical study from August 2017 to January 2018. The size of their prostates (ml) was ranged from 38 to 65, digital rectal examination for all patients was revealed the features of benign prostatic enlargement, prostate-specific antigen was ranged from 0.3 to 14 ng/ml, underwent laser prostatectomy (Diode laser).Results: The study included 62 men with 67.82±7.57 years. After the operation, the median maximum flow rate (Qmax) was increased 11–22 ml/s and the increment was highly significant (p<0.001), and median international prostate symptom score was highly significantly reduced from 19 to 10 (p<0.001). In addition, median residual volume was highly significantly reduced from 169.5 to 77 ml (p<0.001). Mean duration of operation was 67.82±7.57 min. The duration of catheterization with a mean of 1.16±0.45 days. Most patients required only 1 day of hospital stay postoperatively. No one developed post-operative bleeding, erectile dysfunction was reported in a single patient (1.6%), urinary incontinence in one patient (1.6%), and urinary tract infection was the most frequent post-operative complication being reported in 11.3%.Conclusion: Diode laser for the treatment of prostate is easily applicable, cheap and provides good ablation with low morbidity

    Medium access control schemes for flat mobile wireless sensor networks

    One aspect of Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (MWSNs) is the MAC protocol, which is critical in terms of reliability, delay and energy consumption. This work begins with a literature review, showing that the majority of MWSN MACs are designed for hierarchical architectures, demonstrating that there is a lack of MACs intended for flat architecture MWSNs. Subsequently, we propose three new MAC protocols, uniquely designed for flat MWSNs. Explicitly, the proposed MACs are Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Dedicated Slots, Network Division Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance and Network Division Multiple Access with Dedicated Slots, which are specifically designed to work with the state-of-the-art Location Aware Sensor Routing protocol. Extensive modelling and simulation is done in dense and sparse scenarios with varying traffic levels to evaluate the impact of the proposed from the perspective of both the link and network layers. Given the uniqueness of the proposed protocols, four well-known MACs are also included to give a performance reference to the results. The MAC results show that the collision-free protocols give the best reliability and that Global-TDMA consistently yields the highest level of throughput. This highlights the importance of taking into account both MAC and routing during the design process

    The aim of this study is to know the impact of marketing intelligence variables (intelligence product, competitors intelligence, database, customer understanding, understanding the market) on technological innovation. The  JTC is chosen for this study. The importance of the study comes from the fact that marketing intelligence is one of the important topics in the continuous technological developments, entrepreneurship and fast connection where the global business environment has become more competitive and faces many challenges which require conscious and systematic approach by departments and organizations. Despite the adoption of recent technologies in different business areas for technological and managerial organizations,  there is still a failure by organizations in the use of  marketing intelligence systems, which gives organizations strengths and ability to last and becomes unique.  We must not forget role of these systems in technological innovation which help organizations in providing new products and services. The questionnaire was developed to collect data from the study’s community  which includes 150 employees in order to achieve the objectives of the study and testing of hypotheses. The main conclusions and recommendations of this study are the existence of statistically significant impact for marketing intelligence dimensions in technological innovation,  the need of organizations to adopt modern technology in developing their work due to its high precision in business achievement. also,  establish the concept of technological innovation in organizations, which gives it competitive advantage in the market.  Continuous attention for technology analysis and data manipulation tool in the telecom company offers advanced analysis of data structure  and support the decision-making process.     Impact of practice of the leadership behavior patterns on the choice of the strategic alternative at family companies in Jordan

    The study aimed to identify the impact of practice of the leadership behavior patterns on the choice of the strategic alternative at the family business in Jordan. The study population consisted of family companies in the Amman city, was chosen as the most Congested by the family businesses, was chosen as a random sample of (100) company, has been randomly selecting (400) manager was distributed a questionnaire study on them, they were retrieval (372) thereof, and the number of good ones for the purposes of the statistical analysis (360) questionnaire. The study found several results, most notably: the pattern (democratic) is prevalent pattern among managers of family businesses in Jordan. There is a statistically significant impact at the significance level (α = 0.05), for the behavior patterns of the leader collectively which are (dictatorial, autocratic, democratic, Altersla, and transformational), on the choice of the strategic alternative at family companies in Jordan. There is a statistically significant a negative impact at the significance level            (α = 0.05), for any one of the patterns (dictatorial, autocratic, and democratic), on the choice of the strategic alternative at family companies in Jordan. Also, there is a statistically significant a positive impact at the significance level (α = 0.05), for any one of the patterns (Altersla, and transformational), on the choice of the strategic alternative at family companies in Jordan. The study concluded that a number of the recommendations were the most important: the need for a good choice for the director of the factory is capable of use the appropriate pattern the leader of a position in the work because of its good impact on the performance of employees in the factory. And work to encourage the practice of democratic pattern, and  transfer pattern as they a positive relate closely activate the performance of the subordinates, and the reduction of the practice of patterns (dictatorial, and autocratic) as possible
